Solid quality, good support

I ordered The First Strike mousepad last month. The ordering process was straightforward on their website, no issues there. Shipping took about 6 days to get to my place in California, which is pretty standard. When it arrived, there was a small imperfection on the edge of the pad, barely noticeable but I contacted support just to see. They responded within a day and offered a replacement or a partial refund without any hassle. I opted for the refund. The pad itself is good quality, the surface feels consistent, and it's holding up well after a few weeks of daily use. It's a solid choice for gaming; tracking feels precise. Their customer service was definitely a plus.

Always reliable for pads

This isn't my first time buying from Padsmith. I got the Dark Sensei pad this time, and it's just as good as the Warrior pad I bought a while back. Their quality is super consistent, which is why I keep coming back. The feel of the hybrid pads is exactly what I like for competitive games. Shipping always takes around a week to the East Coast, which is fine, I know what to expect. They didn't disappoint this time either. It's nice to have a brand you can trust for your gear.

Nice mousepad, fast delivery

Got the Blue Empress mousepad. Looked cool online, looks even better in person. Shipping was quicker than I thought, took maybe 4 days. It really feels smooth. My mouse just glides on it. Happy with it.

Good value with first order

I was looking for a new mousepad and stumbled across Padsmith. I signed up for their newsletter and got a first order discount, which was nice. I grabbed the Temple of Dreams mousepad. With the discount, it felt like a really good deal compared to other premium pads I'd been looking at. The shipping wasn't super fast, took about 8 days, but for the price I paid, I can't really complain. The pad itself is great for gaming, a definite upgrade without breaking the bank. Worth the purchase.

Decent pad, shipping could improve

I bought one of their glass mousepads, mostly out of curiosity. The pad itself is well-made and definitely unique; my mouse glides incredibly fast on it, which took some getting used to. However, the packaging felt a little minimalist for a glass product, though it did arrive intact. Shipping took a full 7 days from order to delivery, which felt a little long for something relatively small. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about cleaning it. Overall, a good product, but the delivery speed could be a bit quicker.

Is this brand legit? Never heard of them before but the designs look sick.

R Ryan S. 2 months ago
Totally legit. Been around for a bit, lots of streamers use their stuff.

Are their limited edition pads actually good or just for collectors? And what's the return policy on those?

R Raj W. 2 months ago
They're good! I use my Temple of Dreams daily. Returns on limited editions usually depend, I think they're often final sale unless defective.

Limited edition pads are usually final sale unless there's an issue with manufacturing. So make sure you really want it before buying.

Hey, thinking of getting one of the glass pads. How long does shipping usually take to California?

C Colin S. 2 months ago
Mine took about a week to get to San Jose, wasn't bad at all.

I'm in SoCal, got my Dark Sensei in like 5 business days. Pretty quick usually.

What's the difference between their glass and cloth pads in terms of feel? I play mostly Valorant.

L Lisa A. 2 months ago
Glass is super fast and smooth, very low friction. Cloth is more control oriented, more stopping power. For Valorant, some pros like the control of cloth, but glass can give you really quick flicks.

D Daisy W. 2 months ago
Glass is way faster, good for tracking. Cloth gives you more resistance for micro-adjustments. Depends on your playstyle, but most Valorant players might prefer the control of cloth or hybrid.

How are these compared to Artisan pads? Looking for something similar but maybe with different designs.

S Sophie K. 2 months ago
They're definitely up there. Different feel for sure, but quality-wise they hold up. I'd say smoother than an Otsu, if that helps.

I've used both. Padsmith has some really unique surfaces and the art is awesome. Performance is competitive, not exactly the same but in the same league.

Any active influencer codes right now? Looking to snag a First Strike pad.

O Omar 2 months ago
Check some of the bigger FPS streamers on Twitch, a lot of them have codes. Just look in their chat or panels.

J June D. 2 months ago
Yeah, 'OPTIMUM' or 'BOARDZY' usually have 10% off codes. Just google them with Padsmith and you'll find it.

Anyone know if I can use more than one discount code? Like a streamer one and the first order discount?

I Ivy P. 2 months ago
Nah, they usually only let you use one at checkout. Tried it last time.

T Todd 2 months ago
Yeah, pretty sure you can only apply one promo code. It'll say if it's not combinable when you try.

Thinking about getting a cloth pad, but I live in a pretty humid area. Will it get all mushy or anything?

B Ben 2 months ago
Mine's been fine, I live near the coast and haven't noticed any issues with humidity affecting it.

They're pretty resistant. I've had cloth pads from them for a while, even during summer, and they hold up well.
